Happy Festivus everyone!

I've recently purchased my very own Festivus pole from Lowe's, and I was wondering if any industrious people out there could help give me some advice on how to build a base for it.

I was looking at something using PVC. I know the pole will fit very snugly in a 1 1/4" PVC T-joint. Maybe I could do something with that?

Any suggestions would be great!
