Political Correctness

It seems like anything can be "tolerated" as long as it's called religion or culture. Well... We wouldn't want to tell people not to hurt their kids if it's part of their CULTURE, would we? Oh no, that'd be a violation of their rights. And it's OK if widows are kicked out of their homes by their sons and live on the streets, since it's culture.
And it's just fine if women are made into second class citizens because the religion says men are better than them. You know, the religion made up by the men in the first place. That. We "need" to respect it, because it's politically correct.
Screw political correctness; it's just another excuse made up by people too lazy to think.
