As an ex-Catholic I have invented an elaborate Festivus ritual.

Beginning on Festivus and for the next 25 days we celebrate the season of HOC (Honoring of Champions)(Many are in debt/HOCK after the various commercial holidays anyway!!)

Each day we choose one of our Champions to honor. It doesn't have to be a person, it can be anything we feel like honoring. i.e. beer,the Beatles, the Sun, TV etc. You may honor them publicly or privately. On a small scrap of paper write down your daily honoree.
25 days later...January 17th, "Champions Day",a party is thrown! The scraps are ceremoniously burned and all discuss their champions!(or not)

Significantly Jan. 17th is the birthday of some great Champions...Ben Franklin, Muhammed Ali, and Me!!!
