Must the pole be aluminum?

Hello,

I know that a festivus pole must have a high strength to weight ratio. I do not have an aluminum pole, but I just so happen to have an alloy titanium pole, which is left over from a project. This thing is so strong it's crazy.
Is this acceptable for a festivus pole?
